Vision Statement As your teacher I will do my best to not only teach you in my academic field so that you can build a strong foundation with deep understanding our of everything we learn this year and so that you can add to your foundation with future learning with ease, but also serve as a role model of integrity, honesty, professionalism, strong moral values, and empathy towards others, animals, and our planet. Because we do not just want education children, we want to mold future leaders and active members for our community and our society. In order to do this, we must hold ourselves to a higher standard and set the example for our future generations. I will do my best to prepare you for all future academic requirements by supporting your leaning in any way I can. We will learn to deal with everyday life challenges by learning that we can not control other people's actions but we can control our reactions, that our situation is temporary and does not define us, and that we are the creators of our own future. We will not only learn to take care of ourselves, but to care for our planet and all living beings in it.
About myself: Teaching has been a lifelong dream that I put on pause to raise my family. My husband, son, and pets are the most important part of my life. I'm from Brandon, Texas but reside in Hillsboro, Texas and graduated from Hillsboro High School. I have an associates degree in Arts from Hill College, an associates degree of Arts in teaching from MCC, and hope to receive a bachelor's degree in Teaching EC-6 Bilingual/ESL from Tarleton State University. As mention before, my family is everything to me. I love traveling and making memories with them, but we also enjoy staying at home and working around the house or just spending the day with our pets. My hobbies are photography, reading, the outdoors, cleaning house, and going to the movies with my family.
